Wildly Inacurate – difficult to use!
I just purchased this yesterday on a special deal with delivery the same day. I regret the purchase and I am in the process of returning it.The systolic rating is up to 40 points higher than I’ve been seeing on my old machine. The diastolic is 10 – 30 points higher than expected. Only the pulse is within the expected range and it does detect my AFIB.I’ve been taking my BP at home for more than 35 years so I know what to expect. I keep track and chart it for my doctor who agrees they are accurate. This does not work – at least not for me.The cuff is supposed to handle up to 16.5″ circumference. My arm is 14″ and this cuff is too small! It’s at least 3 inches shorter than the cuff I have been using.The cuff must be placed EXACTLY over the artery. Most cuffs have a little lee-way but this gives an error if you don’t have it just right. It also must be much tighter than other cuffs or it gives an error.It is incredibly difficult to use. It works BACKWARDS! Traditional BP monitors pump up and then register as the pressure releases for the actual reading. This one only goes UP! It tracks everything on the way up and then it just releases all the pressure at once. I think that is part of the inaccuracy.It’s just not worth the higher readings to try to get it to work when it obviously won’t work!If you are keeping track of your readings for your doctor — avoid this thing!

Got tired of the error messages.
Bought this due to the customer reviews. The large print is nice and it does have voice read, which I found annoying but would be good for those with sight issues. Very easy to use. My issue is that it gave an error E4 just anbout every single time I used it. Looked for the leak made sure all hoses were connected, then it either work or give me the error again. Got tired of that so I’m returning and trying a different brand.

Regret Buying
I purchased this as a check/backup to the one (a different brand) I have been using for over two years, two to three times a day. On the positive side, I believe this cuff is accurate. On the negative side, depending on the amount and type of light in the room, the screen is very very (did I say very?) difficult to read and the symbols are smaller than on my other cuff. Another negative is that it turns on very very easily. As I am putting it away, in the same wrapped up way as my other cuff, it turns on. I zip the cover to close it and the cuff turns on. The “start” button is sensitive — too sensitive. I do not know if this is an issue only with the cuff I was sent or if others have had this issue too. This cuff has the ability to speak the results so you do not have to look at the screen. There are three volume settings plus the ability to turn off the sound. Regardless of the setting I put the volume on, it seems to have the same loudness. If I use the sound — you do have the option to turn off the sound and try to just look at the really bad screen — I need to be careful about privacy and people hearing the results, even at a distance. By the way, the pressure/comfort of this cuff is the same to me as my other cuff meaning this cuff does not have a comfort advantage to me. Also note this cuff is set to the World Health Organization’s standards for what high, normal, and low blood pressures are. You can ignore when it tells you your BP is high, low, normal or you can buy a cuff that uses the standard we use in the United States. I just ignore what it says and know the US standards. While this cuff is accurate, given how difficult the screen is, the volume levels, and, the ease of turning on at odd times, I would not purchase this again and would purchase a new one of the brand I have been using which is not only accurate but has a screen that is easy to read and does not turn on when I am putting it away or walking down the hall.

Easy to use
I bought this in a panic after going to the ER due to a facial droop and visual blind spots, which turned out to be a hemiplegic migraine. My blood pressure was 170/97, so my (perhaps not full rational)concern for a potential stroke led me to purchasing this piece of rquipment. Setting it up was fairly simple, it has several extra settings that I do not necessarily need, particularly the voice narration. But I easily turned the volume off and I understand it could be quite useful for others. The screen is large and easy to read. I do think getting the cuff on could be a little difficult for those with mobility issues, so having a second person could be beneficial. I appreciate the it can either use batteries or be plugged in using a micro USB.I’m hoping its accurate, because my BP at home, after my symptoms have improved, is now normal. 🤞

I had to return another BP monitor for failing after 3 uses and the screen was faulty – it was in the £17 price range – I opted to spend a bit more this time and I got this version with the batteries/mains cable and the carry case – it was around £21. I can immediately tell its better quality – it feels solid with a good quality cuff and hose -these wont break or deteriorate any time soon. The case is good quality and I need it more than I thought. The big thing for me was the instructions – The quick start guide specifically – nice and clear, no grammar/spelling errors, large enough to be clear and understandable and is very easy to follow. They do provide a full product description in addition but you don’t really need it, but the quick start guide is large and separate. I have used it now several times and works quickly, fairly quietly and then can be stored away neatly in a cupboard. If you are feeling swamped with the volume of the monitors around this price range – this one I recommend.
