Anne Klein Women’s Classic Double Breasted Wool Coat

Lovely 60% wool pea coat
Very stylish lined wool pea coat. It is well made and composed of 60% wool/40%polyester providing good warmth (dry clean only). Flattering silhouette and Medium size fits perfectly, 5″10″ 125lb. Having viewed many other brands this one stood out in terms of high quality at a VERY reasonable cost. So happy chose it and Highly recommend.

One caveat
I originally wanted a classic pea coat with SHAPE. When you lose fifty pounds (60 down, 70 to go…) and your shape is naturally curvy, you want to SEE those curves you used to have. Something about the longer shape on this one drew me in – and I’m glad I chose it. I got the XXL because I wanted a little extra space all around for layering underneath (got that, on the body). But the problem with nearly everything I ever bought when I was very large and now, still sometimes, as I scale down, is when clothing manufacturers upsize a garment they don’t seem to understand they cannot bypass the armhole/sleeve area. If a person is overweight across the chest you have to know you’re going to have to cut a roomier garment there AND through the armholes/arms, as well. With my weight loss (currently hovering around 197 lbs/size 16), I can wear the coat without another layer underneath. It’s going to be snug with a fitted hoodie, however. And there’s no way the armholes wouldn’t have been impossible (XXL, remember) at 250 lbs.At any rate, at under 200lbs NOW this is a beautiful coat, with a flattering mid-thigh length and slight princess fit/flare. Details I thought might be distracting (the cuff bands) are actually quite lovely. I hope this coat is still here when I’m smaller because it’s already slimming and kind of “hot.” But if I were a size 8 it would REALLY look smashing!Just don’t be surprised if the armholes kill the deal if you’re bigger than a size 16. If they’d cut it properly at the armholes it would have been flattering on a size 24.

Great fit, classic style, warm and figure flattering
Great fit and true to size. I am 5’2” and 125 lbs. Got the XS in charcoal gray. All the stitches and seams are well done… love the slightly cinched waist coz it accentuates your figure. There is also a slight padding on the shoulders that enhances your form and overall shape. The Sleeve falls perfectly few inches past my wrist, just above my knuckles. Just fyi, if you have thicker arms or broader shoulders you may wanna size up coz XS on me has room for maybe just a shirt or a thinner sweater— nothing bulky. But that’s ok with me coz I live in Texas and the weather around here never really gets too cold that we need to bundle up as folks in the Northeast need to. 😁 That being said, the charcoal gray version of this jacket has the highest wool content. 62%… offers enough warmth without being heavy.Beware though, coz not all colors have same material… for example, the red one doesn’t even list wool in any sort of %. So, just be aware and look up the colors individually when you make your choice.

Excellent coat; poor customer experience. Size up!
I’m pleased with the fit and look of this coat. However, it was kind of a hassle to get here. I’m 5’8 and 168lb, so I originally bought an L after skimming through some reviews and consulting the size chart. It was so tight on my arms that it felt more like I was wearing children’s clothes, and it couldn’t even button in the front. Also, the large I ordered came with a stain on the inside. The XL is a much better fit, although the difference in size is kind of jarring. If it weren’t for the tags I’d swear that what I originally received was an S.

I have just received my item … Hamger is broken and buttons are loose stitch . However coat is very warm and stylish
