SOOTHING COMFORT: A weighted blanket provides gentle, comforting pressure that can help to reduce tossing and turning, making it easier to fall and stay asleep. Made with all-natural materials such as cotton fabric and irritant-free filling, it is gentle on the skin and will not irritate those with sensitivities. HOW TO CHOOSE: The weight of the blanket should be about 10% of your body weight. For example, a 150 lb adult would use a 15 lb weighted blanket, and a 65 lb child would use a 7 lb weighted blanket. The blanket should be no longer in size than the top of your mattress and should not hang over the sides of your bed. Please reference our chart to determine which blanket is right for you.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Hand wash or dry clean if needed. Hang dry or air dry. Pair with a Bare Home duvet cover or weighted blanket cover in the appropriate size to protect your weighted blanket and reduce cleaning time.

Takes a little getting used to.
Took a little getting used to. I really like it. Bought a second one, twin size, to do road trips and help me sleep better in a strange bed away from home. Be sure not to order one too big. Weighted blankets are not supposed to hang over the edge of the bed; very important! If anything, go smaller.I did not find that I need or want to use this for summer, but I love it in winter when the house is very cool at night.

This is a FABULOUS weighted blanket. The quality is above and beyond – one of the best online purchases I have ever made. What a great product for the price. It is beautiful.DIABETICS -you need to check with your doctor before using a WEIGHTED blanket. Do your research on the Internet – may not be ideal for anybody with onset of peripheral neuropathy, particularly of the legs and feet.. READ UP!

7lb is perfect for an adult!
This is the perfect weight for an adult. The 20lb was too heavy, and made a person feel like they were being held hostage. This 7lb is the lighest weight I could find for the length. It adds just enough weight to be comfortable. Im not sure why they recommend for small children. Durable and comfy, unfortunately their site made it a bear to order the cover so I have yet to get it.

Weighted blanket amazing gift
I bought this really nice weighted blanket for my sister and it was such nice quality and it was so soft the only thing was it was the right weight just it didn’t feel heavy enough but it was but it wasn’t. Looks just like photo. But she loves it anyway!

Cozy sleep blanket
Absolutely love this cozy weighted blanket. The 7lb blanket is just heavy enough to apply pressure to your body – without feeling trapped. The sand color goes with all bedding. Very well made.

I just bought 2 more of these! Great weight distribution, super comfortble, attractive colors, and washes well. I wash everything before I use it, so in it went, cold gentle cycle with detergent and a dash of vinegar to set the color so it never runs or fades (important). It would take forever to hang dry and is too heavy to hang anyway so I popped it into the dryer with 2 dry bath towels. The blanket was perfectly dry in half an hour and my kid sleeping under it just 2 hours later. It was like magic watching this weighted blanket so gently confine, and then settle my wiggly ADHD child with restless legs. That’s the 10lb 40×60 green blanket. I love it, so the next day I got the velvety soft blue for my other kid (it’s gorgeous but might be too warm for some people, I suspect), and a 12lb 48×72 for myself. I chose not to get a queen because it is heavy, and I think a larger one would be awkward and cumbersome to position or adjust at night. Besides, I’m single. If I weren’t, I’d still consider 2 twins instead of a queen, personally. None of my family have been sleeping well lately but I look forward to some good rest tonight! As for choosing weight, I’d have definitely gone heavier years ago when my anxiety was super intense. For me now, the 12 lb twin blanket feels like I’m free to move but with resistance and it feels right. I’m a somewhat petite female. I had a great snuggle under it to try it out, and now it’s happily whirring in the washer.

This blanket has great weight distribution but it’s much smaller then I expected. I should have measured out the dimensions beforehand but I didn’t. It seems to be very good quality but it’s lap quilt size. I bought it for my daughters twin bed and it doesn’t really come close to fitting. We’ve decided to just fold it at the foot during the day and lay it over her when she goes to bed at night. It has definitely helped her sleep better during the night. She’s 4.
