Soft, light, and moisturized
I tried this shampoo in a hotel, and fell in love. I went home and immediately made an order. My hair feels so light and fluffy with this shampoo and its companion conditioner. It smells amazing, and the huge bottle lasts forever. I had never tried Dove soap products before this, but now I am hooked.My wife loves it too, she has fine wavy hair that gets dry and frizzy easily, and this soap has been so moisturizing for her. Her hair has much less breakage and frizz since making the switch. She was a skeptic and had been using the same shampoo and conditioner for YEARS but trying my shampoo a couple times has made her a believer as well.

Vegan, PETA approved AND good clean smelling hair??!?!?!?
This item is vegan and I had no idea that it was vegan and so I did a bit of research and looked it up. It’s also PTA approved. I’m African American and I have four C type hair and I use this type of shampoo because it makes my hair smell and feel ultra clean and fresh I can’t describe it but it’s really good. This was recommended to me by one of my long haired Mexican freind and he always had really good smelling hair 😍 he told me he uses this and I tried it and LOVED it (as much as I love him!). we travel quite a bit and first used this at hotels we stayed. really like product. use both shampoo and conditioner. i have thick wavy hair but wear it straight and this product works very well at keeping hair smooth… except on really humid days (nothing works on really humid days-lol). would recommend only drawback for me is strong scent – it might just be me but my husband doesn’t mind it.

Surprisingly great for dry, frizzy, wiry hair.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this shampoo. I’ve been using Pantene Pro-V for decades at this point, and every time I tried a different brand, I was disappointed. It seemed I couldn’t find a shampoo that didn’t completely dry out my hair and/or scalp and keep my hair from feeling tangled and/or greasy. I have really thick, wiry hair so I guess it’s just hard to find a good shampoo. This shampoo and conditioner makes my hair softer, smoother, and doesn’t turn it into a big dried-out fluffy mess. I can actually run my hand through my hair and it doesn’t get stuck.One thing I’ll have to get used to, the shampoo does such a nice job with smoothing out and softening my hair, I don’t need to let conditioner set in for very long after. That would make my hair borderline oily. I don’t see this as a negative though since the shampoo (and the conditioner in the same line) are just doing their job well.When I saw how good this shampoo was, I bought the matching conditioner. Both have been excellent. I’m gonna stick with this combo now as it’s much cheaper than what I’ve used before.

I hadn’t used Dove in a very long time, but had to stay in a hotel recently and they had Dove products. I ordered my own for when I got home! This smells so good and I am sensitive to smells. I was having a lot of fall-out (hooray, perimenopause!) and this has really lessened that. My hair is clean, soft, and smells great. What more can you want?

Fabulous for the price.
This Dove Damage Therapy is amazing. I have a very sensitive scalp and find many shampoos to be irritating to my scalp causing itching. I have used expensive products that failed to help my hair and scalp. This product is inexpensive but provides great feel to my hair and leaves my scalp itch free.

I have heard a lot of women say that this shampoo isn’t the greatest but I absolutely love it. I struggle with dry hair and dead ends but didn’t want to buy a super expensive shampoo/conditioner. This has made my hair so silky soft and my ends have never been more healthy! Love it!!
