I bought the OUAI Medium Conditioner Refill specifically because I needed something safe and effective for both color-treated and keratin-treated hair, and this has been a great fit.The formula feels rich and hydrating without being heavy, which is exactly what my hair needs after coloring and keratin smoothing. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and easy to detangle, and I’ve noticed that it helps keep my color looking fresher between salon visits. My hair also stays sleek without losing the smoothness from the keratin treatment.The scent is light, clean, and slightly floral — noticeable but not overpowering — and it leaves my hair smelling really good. I also like that the refill pouch makes it more eco-friendly and cost-effective, and it’s easy to top off my existing bottle.If there’s one small downside, it’s that if you use too much, it can feel a little rich on finer hair. But using a moderate amount solves that.Overall: A luxurious, effective conditioner that works beautifully on color- and keratin-treated hair, and the refill option makes it convenient and more sustainable. This is absolutely my favorite conditioner and the refill bag is a great price instead of buying individual bottles. My curtly medium hair is soft, smells amazing- I get compliments all the time- and I have even noticed I am loosing less hair which was a concern of mine. My curly are extremely hydrated and the quality is incredible.

Cons I’ll start off by saying that the size of this conditioner SUCKS and is too small for home use for anyone with long hair. The bottle is slightly smaller than my hand and seems better suited for travel or people with shorter hair (aka my husband versus me, who has shoulder+ length hair). If you’re not buying this on sale, it’s extremely expensive.Pros: With that said, I absolutely LOVE Ouai products and the way they smell! I have their shampoos and dog shampoo and haven’t been disappointed (until now, due to the size of the conditioner bottle). The quality of Ouai products is fantastic, it does a great job of hydration, doesn’t leave your hair feeling greasy and washes out easily. I do believe Ouai has a cult following — for good reason.Now with everything considered, I am glad I purchased the bottle just to try (and I purchased while on sale). However, I purchased the refill pouch instead because you get a better value.

Very conditioning and pleasantly fragrant
I have long hair to my waist so I’ve accepted that I need to use a lot of conditioner, which is why I buy cheap brands. I only bought this expensive conditioner to accompany the OUAI purifying shampoo I had to buy due to temporarily staying somewhere with hard water, and I LOVE it. A little really does go a long way with this conditioner, thankfully, so it lasts a lot longer than other expensive conditioners that weren’t as efficient. My hair is noticeably softer and shinier.My favorite part is that it’s very fragrant all the way up to my next wash. That’s pretty impressive, considering I use 2 leave in conditioners and heat style my hair. If you dislike strong or lingering perfume-y hair care, you might not like it.

This is a good conditioner!

This conditioner is on par if not better then many of the professional salon products. Not only is the fragrance nice, my hair is softer, less frizzy and easier to manage. I have natural curly hair that can be dry as I swim 3x a week. A little goes a long way. The bottle could be bigger but it’s a product I will continue to use. My hair stylist said this was a great product to use and the owner used to work with some big Hollywood celebrity but branched out on her own.
